Consultations

Perhaps the hardest part of a pet owner’s life is knowing when it’s “time”. Is your best friend showing less interest in food? Less willing to go for the walks they used to enjoy? We offer free phone or text consultations to help you determine your pet’s quality of life. In-person examinations are also available.

In-home Pet Euthanasia

Our services allow your pet to relax in the comfort of their own home, without the stress of a visit to the vet clinic. Your appointment can take place wherever your furry companion is most comfortable - a favorite chair, rug, or place in the backyard.

Final Rest Options

We offer both cremation and aquamation services in conjunction with our partners Lasting Paws Pet Memorial Services and Guardian Pet Aquamation. We would be glad to work with you to make sure your best friend’s memory lives on.

About Dr. Benjamin Kraemer

Dr. Ben grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth region of Texas. He received his DVM degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and currently resides in Cheyenne, Wyoming with his wife, son and their many animals! Dr. Ben loves helping families during the grieving process of losing their beloved pets. During his free time, Dr. Ben loves being outdoors – hiking, camping and fishing!

Making the decision to euthanize my chihuahua was not an easy one, but Dr. Ben's prompt response and compassionate guidance made the process as smooth as possible. He arrived the same evening I reached out and took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, which was incredibly comforting during such an emotional time.I am deeply grateful for Dr. Ben's patience and genuine care. He not only informed my regular veterinarian about the situation but also sent a heartfelt sympathy card and promptly delivered my little companion's cremains to our home. Dr Ben walked us through each and every step of our pups passing. Our pup was 9 and got very sick quickly with congestive heart failure and then kidney failure. We tried medications and they didn't help. It was our Cooper's time to pass on. We have 3 young children and he was kind and considerate with us all through his messages and through each step of our pain. We are blessed in the Cheyenne community to have him so close for end of life care and decisions for our pets. I would recommend him greatly for in home euthanasia of your pet when the time comes. Dr Ben helped to make one of life's most difficult decisions a little easier and more peaceful. Our dogs are like family to us and it's never easy to let any of them go!! When our Ruby started having difficulty walking and becoming incontinent, we knew she had little quality of life left. As much as we wanted her to stay, her eyes were tired and her soul was ready to meet her Roxy on the other side where they could run and play together as they did for so many years here with us. He was patient, kind, gentle and above all compassionate 💓 He treated her as we would and allowed us to grieve and work through the process as a family right by Ruby's side. Her remains were hand delivered with care and although she's passed on, we can remember her every time we look at her picture in her urn or her cute little paw print hanging on the wall. A huge THANK YOU to Dr Ben 🙌 for giving Ruby a soft, subtle passing in our home where she was surrounded by those who loved her most!! You're doing God's work here on earth!!

Dr. Ben went above and beyond. From the moment I called, he was kind and supportive. He was able to come out and help our family last minute - as my cat had taken a sudden turn for the worse that day. Dr. Ben was calm, patient, and came prepared. Dr, Ben is an angel of mercy. My 8 year old Newfoundland was suffering, and we realized we needed to end his life urgently because medication couldn’t manage his pain. It happened so quickly. It was a Saturday, late afternoon, and we couldn’t find anyone in Greeley to come help us. I called Dr. Ben and let the phone ring twice before I saw on his website he was closed on Saturdays. Dr. Ben called me back immediately. Through my tears and urgent plea for help for my beloved dog, Dr. Ben agreed to drive down from Cheyenne on his day off and end my dog’s suffering. Within two hours, Dr. Ben was at our house and came to my dog’s aid. He was gentle, kind and created a beautiful and peaceful passing for Maximus. He allowed space for us all to say good-bye and validated the difficult decision we made to end his life. Dr.Ben is not only a skilled veterinarian, but a kind man who runs a business based on compassion. I can’t recommend him enough and am so grateful for his dedication to assist the needs of pets with end of life care.

We lost a dear family member. My Son’s 11 year old lab. He passed away at home surrounded by family including my 11 & 9 year old granddaughters, who were devastated. It happened after hours & no one was available to help us with the next step till morning. My heart broke at the kids having their pup lay all night in the garage. One of the vets we had called recommended we call Dr Ben. He was amazing. He came within a half hour to help us with the next step for our beloved pet. He was so compassionate & professional. He truly was a rescue ranger to our family when no one else offered a solution. I would highly recommend his services! Our dear pet will be cremated and back home with his family in a matter of days. I simply cannot recommend Dr. Ben enough. We recently had to transition my 11yr old Great Dane, who I had since he was 6 weeks old. He was a beloved member of our family, and we were absolutely devastated to have to make that decision. Dr. Ben couldn’t have been more kind, compassionate and professional. He was so considerate of our family, and most importantly of our sweet pup. He made the transition so smooth and peaceful for him and for us, and we felt such a sense of relief knowing we got to send him off comfortably in his home in the arms of the people who loved him most. He also helped us work with the crematorium to get exactly the urn we wanted, helped us customize it, and delivered it along with our dog’s ashes back to us within a week or so. We are so grateful for Dr. Ben and his amazing service.

Dr. Ben took a horrible day and eased the pain. We just had our 13 y/o corgi make her journey to Heaven and he was so patient with us as we took our time saying our very hard goodbyes. He’s a God send and being able to do this process in the backyard where she loved to be was so much better then it being done in a foreign place. Dr. Ben is highly recommended, he responded very quickly and was very kind, compassionate and patient with all our questions. He assured us we were doing the right thing. Dr Ben IS AMAZING! He was so patient and kind. Flexible in scheduling. I could not have imagined such a sad sad day could have gone any better! As a 30-year dog breeder, I highly recommend Dr. Ben, DVM. Last night I arrived home to find that my Portuguese Water Dogs, Babalou Welch Anchors Away, YabbadabadoPupPup and Sambalabambababy had injested 1.5 pounds of Christmas chocolates. Dr. Ben took my late-night panicked call, informed me of what to do, and put my mind at ease. The puppies were extremely well taken care of by Dr. Ben; moreover, his calming presence and expertise made a huge difference. Our experience and outcome were incredibly positive.
